ACBy Dave “Mythical” Siderski

This was one of the craziest finishes in NFL playoff history! Carson Palmer found Michael Floyd for a 9 yard touchdown pass to give the Cardinals a 17-13 lead late in the 4th quarter. Arizona added a field goal to extend their lead to 20-13 with under 2 minutes remaining. With the game on the line, the Packers faced a 4th and 20 from their own 4 yard line. Aaron Rodgers found J. Janis on a desperation heave for a 60 yard completion to keep Green Bay’s slim hopes alive! Facing 2nd and 15 from the Cardinals 41 and just 4 seconds remaining, Rodgers completed a “Hail Mary” pass to Janis to force overtime! The game was tied 20-20 and the Packers were still alive! However, Green Bay’s new life was short lived.

On the very first play of overtime, Carson Palmer connected with Larry Fitzgerald for a 75 yard completion to the Packers 5 yard line. One play later, Palmer hit Fitzgerald again for a 5 yard touchdown to secure the victory! The Cardinals advance to the NFC Championship Game in a classic!
