Get Ready For Peyton Manning Vs Tom Brady XVII: Broncos Win 23-16!

Just a few weeks ago he was written off for dead but, like Lazarus, 39 year old Peyton Manning rose from the ashes and led his team to the AFC Championship Game today. Peyton’s numbers weren’t great. He completed a mediocre 57% of his passes for 222 yards and no touchdowns. What he also did, however, was to take care of the football committing no turnovers and allowing his defense and running game to secure the victory. Ben Roethlisberger, in spite of playing with a separated shoulder, played heroically, throwing for 339 yards and kept his team in the game until the very end. Ultimately, though, he and the Steelers were only able to put up 16 points against a stingy Broncos defense which just wasn’t enough. Once again, supremacy in the AFC will come down Manning vs Brady, the NFL’s version of Ali-Frazier. Which of these old gunslingers will prevail? We’ll find out next Sunday!
