Behind The Lens on The “Bad” Brad Berkwitt Show with Guest Jameie Harris

JHBy Debbie “D2” Edwards

Have you ever met a person who is loved by EVERYONE? Sure, there are some people who are popular. But, true to human nature, there will always be someone, somewhere, who has something negative to say about the nicest person on earth. Believe me when I say that EVERYONE loves Jameie Harris. In fact, a frequent visitor on the show boxing trainer Randy Rouse, owner of Team Rouse Kickboxing in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, who is highly regarded in his own field confirms this when he summed Harris up in one word, “Family”!

Jameie Harris is a professional MMA, Kick Boxing & Boxing matchmaker and Program Director of Apollo’s Martial Arts in Tulsa, Oklahoma who recently sat on the interview couch with
“Bad” Brad. We have had the privilege of interviewing many people who have had close interactions with her. When her name is mentioned, the response from them is always the same. An instant smile appears on their faces, there is a gleam in their eyes, and a proclamation of how sincere and genuine of a person that she is. How is it possible for someone to be held with such esteem by so many people?

Jameie is competent. She does her job, and does it well.
Jameie is caring. She takes a personal interest in others that goes beyond her job.
Jameie is consistent. Every time we see Jameie, she is the same. She is always friendly, she is always positive, and she is always sweet.

Yes, Jameie Harris has managed to do something that very few people can do. She manages to perform even the difficult tasks of her job in such a manner that she commands the respect and admiration of those who she interacts with. And while not all of us will go through our lives being held in the highest esteem by everyone who we meet, we can take solace in the fact that competence, caring, consistency, and humility are essential qualities in maintaining good relations with others. What a pleasure it was to interact with someone who manages to possess those qualities and conducts herself with grace and dignity.
