Manny Pacquiao Will Be Facing Timothy Bradley for the Third and Final Time on April 9th

TB MPManny Pacquiao and Timothy Bradley will fight each other for the third time on April 9 in what will be the third fight between the two men. The fight is scheduled to take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, and online boxing odds have Pacquiao as the favorite to win the fight.

The fight between Bradley and Pacquiao is expected to be the final fight of Pacquiao’s career, as he plans to focus on his political career in his native Philippines.

The first fight between the two men ended in a controversial decision for Bradley, whom most people that saw the fight thought he lost. The second fight was a decisive victory for Pacquiao, who dominated his opponent and didn’t leave any doubt about who the winner was.

Because of how Pacquiao dominated Bradley in the second fight, most boxing experts including Pacquiao’s long-time trainer Freddie Roach believe it will be an easy victory for Pacquiao.

One boxing insider that doesn’t believe Pacquiao will win the fight is Boxing News 24’s Chris Williams. Williams believes Bradley will defeat Pacquiao, sending the former champion into retirement with a loss. Williams feels that Pacquiao, who was great in his prime, is too old to keep up with the younger Bradley, which will eventually cost him the fight.

Williams said that he thinks Bradley will be able to use his jab, movement and boxing skills to set the pace of the fight and keep Pacquiao away. Williams even took his bold prediction further by saying Bradley would dominate Pacquiao if he quickly sets the pace of the fight.

Chris Williams also said that he thought Timothy Bradley would have won the second fight if he had legendary trainer Teddy Atlas in his corner for the fight. Atlas, who has been training Bradley for the fight is a legendary trainer that has worked with former champions like Mike Tyson and Michael Moorer.

Bradley and Atlas started working together prior to his fight with Brandon Rios last November, and have continued their working relationship since. Williams said that Bradley hiring Atlas as his trainer was the best decision the boxer could have made for his career.

In an interview, Bradley spoke about how much he enjoyed working with Atlas. Bradley said he was very confident about working with Atlas because Atlas has a lot of boxing knowledge that will help him become a better boxer.

Pacquiao arrived in Los Angeles recently to begin training for the fight and was met by a lot of fans at the airport despite the disparaging remarks he made about LGBT people. Pacquiao, who will be training at Freddie Roach’s Wildcard gym told his fans that he was very excited about the fight and promised to give them a great performance against Bradley.

In what has become a familiar routine, Freddie Roach has been doing a lot of trash talking on behalf of his fighter and had a few things to say about Bradley and Atlas going into the fight.

While most of what Roach said about Bradley and Atlas was said to hype up the fight, Roach and Atlas have a history that dates back to when Roach replaced Atlas as Michael Moorer’s trainer so there is genuine animosity between the two men.
