Floyd Mayweather, JR VS Conor McGregor – What the Oddsmakers Say

FMJ CMEverybody’s waiting to see whether Floyd Mayweather, JR. will come out of retirement to box Conor McGregor, the UFC featherweight champion. To make things even more spectacular this is supposed to happen in Las Vegas, Nevada. Well, where else rather than the capital of gambling and everything that is flashy, the city that has inspired many online gambling sites with five star casino bonuses and reviews.

More and more rumors come out that this is very much real and is going to happen so it must be true, right? One of the problems towards this happening is McGregor’s exclusive contract with UFC. He can’t just show up in Sin City and fight whoever he pleases. However, reality has not always been what it is.

That hasn’t stopped bookies from posting odds and opened The Money at -2000, which makes him a huge favorite. McGregor on the other hand came at +900. This fight may be a longshot, but even if it happens, the oddsmakers say that McGregor winning it is an even bigger longshot. Mayweather has been hardly hit in the true sense of the meaning by even the most badass professional boxers, and the chances of McGregor doing that are even slimmer. In order for the odds to pay the fight must take place in 2016.
