Nate Diaz is HUGE Ahead of Conor McGregor Fight – Breaking UFC News

ufc202By JM “Shade” Daguio

Perennial lightweight contender Nate Diaz is looking to add more muscle ahead of his bout with Conor McGregor.

Boxing coach Erik Funez of Ten Goose Gym praised Diaz in an instagram video:

“It’s a privilege to have Nate sparring with Juan, even though Nate is almost like 200 pounds” Nate is well known to be a relentless yet technical boxer like his older brother Nick, he has sparred with boxing champs such as Andre Ward and held his own.

Diaz is also a long time black belt in jiu-jitsu which gives him a well-rounded perspective of MMA. Being a long time UFC veteran, Diaz had great wins but none greater than slaying the Irishman Conor McGregor, who is currently UFC’s moneymaker. Their first fight earned millions, giving Diaz his very first huge payday. For their second fight, McGregor looks to exact revenge but suprisingly chose the same weight class he lost to; welterweight.

Diaz for his part is continuing his camp and doing rounds of media tours around the US to promote his fight with McGregor this late August which was earlier scrapped from UFC 200.

Critics and fans alike are seeing this bout as the “real” premiere fight card due to UFC 200’s PED and lackluster controversy.
