WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko is set to defend against mandatory challenger Odlanier Solis on March 19 at the Köln Arena in Cologne, Germany. The respective camps came to an agreement averting a scheduled WBC purse bid. Solis is said to have agreed to a $1.8 million purse, while Klitschko’s K2 Promotions will promote the fight.
