Roy Jones JR Returns to the Boxing Ring on March 11th

By Geno McGahee

RSR has just been informed that former Middleweight, Super Middleweight, Light Heavyweight, and Heavyweight Champion, Roy Jones, JR., 54-7, 40 KO’s, will be finally returning to the ring on March 11th in Tennessee, most likely.

The opponent has yet to be determined at this point. Jones, JR., last fought in April of 2010, losing a unanimous decision to Bernard Hopkins. Prior to that fight, Jones lost via first round KO to Danny Green.

According to our source, Jones, JR., is entertaining a move up to heavyweight for one last run, possibly targeting David Haye or Tomasz Adamek. The idea of Jones, JR., actually defeating either fighter at this point is far-fetched, but those are apparently two fighters that he may be interested in.
