Dark Knight Rises: Christian Bale’s Shocking Comments

By Geno McGahee

In 2005, Christian Bale assumed the role of Batman in “BATMAN BEGINS,” launching a follow up in 2008 with “THE DARK KNIGHT.” Bale is one of the biggest names in Hollywood and he has signed on for a third entry in the new run of Batman movies.

DARK KNIGHT RISING will feature Anne Hathaway as “Catwoman” and Tom Hardy has signed on for “Bane,” attempting to fill the gap left by a late Heath Ledger, the man that brought the best Joker of all time to the screen. Sadly, he would pass on shortly after the filming.

Despite the recent comments of Christopher Nolan, where he stated that he would not be involved in another Batman movie, Christian Bale has stepped forward, remarking that he would continue the series with or without Nolan, surprising some.

Some doubt that Nolan would turn down another huge payday and opportunity to direct another Batman movie after DARK KNIGHT RISING and that his recent comments may be a power play to turn a bigger buck. No matter what, the Bale Batman fans can rest easy, with their man still wearing the mask of the caped crusader.
