Ambam: The Walking Gorilla Surprises

When I saw Ambam, I would have bet that he was in his 40s, but he is 21, a western lowland Gorilla that has captured the imagination of the world and the hearts of many. Ambam supporters contacted RSR and stated that: “Ambam is a pleasure and watching him walk around and enjoy life is what it’s all about.” I could not have said it better.
It has been made clear by many experts that Ambam’s decision to “walk like a human” is nothing new and all apes are capable of doing the same thing. Ambam has just made the decision to do so.
Tourists come to see Ambam daily and he enjoys the celebrity, grabbing the food that they toss at him and, according to some, “giving a smile” in return. Ambam’s youtube video, displaying his amazing ability to walk without dragging his knuckles has been viewed over 500,000 times. People have gone ape for Ambam.
