Wrestlemania Shocker & WWE Divas Get RAW

By Kevin Nelson

This week’s addition of Monday Night RAW took place in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, with the announcement that Vince McMahon has something very big to say.

The telecast starts with Vince addressing that Wrestlemania will have a host and it will be announced next week on RAW. He also addressed Nexus and said each member of the group will have a match with the entrants in the WWE Elimination Chamber.

The next thing that happened, after Vince McMahon left, was Nexus surrounded Randy Orton and sought retribution after Orton punted Mike McGillicuddy in the head last week.

After the group beat up Orton, the Leader CM Punk, explained that he cost Orton his title at the Royal Rumble because it was payback for the time he cost him the world heavyweight championship in 2008.

The first matchup of the evening featured Nexus newcomer facing R-Truth. The unintentional funny moment of the night was R-Truth doing his “what’s up” rap song as he comes down the ring and making the mistake of saying “what’s up Green Bay.”

The crowd booed heavily and on cue. Michael Cole said we are in Milwaukee idiot to R-Truth. It was a priceless wrestling moment. Anyway, the match ended only after a couple of minutes with the newcomer Ryan using a submission a single leg Boston crab to defeat R-Truth, but since he left the hold on, he was disqualified.

I know…never heard of that either?

Next was a six woman tag team match featuring WWE Diva’s Champ Eve, Gail Kim and Tamina facing The Bella Twins and Melina. The Champion, Eve, would get the win as she would pin Melina. Shortly after the match, it was announced that Natalya would be getting a title shot against Eve.

Next match was John Morrison facing Mike McGillicuddy (Nexus member and Mr. Perfect’s son) in a match. Morrison would predictably win, but he would be ambushed and sprayed in the eyes followed by a boot to the head from CM Punk.

A tag team match would follow with Daniel Bryan and Jerry the king Lawler facing Ted Dibiase, JR., and WWE Champion the Miz. The King would get the win as he would level Dibiase and secured the three count.

The next match was King Sheamus facing David Otunga the match would end in a no contest. CM Punk would give false accusations concerning Mark Henry and cause a rift ending with Sheamus getting slammed and be unable to fight.

Next up were the two finalists of the Royal Rumble, Alberto Del Rio facing Santino Marella with the end of the match being Santino submitting.

The main event had John Cena facing CM Punk and Cena would get disqualified by low-blowing CM punk in his little punks. As nexus charged to the ring Lawler gave Cena a chair and finished off Nexus with chair shots.

RAW Aftermath

With Vince McMahon being in a coma from a Nexus attack just a couple of months ago, to see him alive and well and no mention of his coma. It seems the WWE writers think we the fans forgot about that. Also with the announcement of a host for Wrestlemania next week the more important question is do we care?
