UFC Shocker: Strikeforce About to Change Dramatically

Just hours after the deal became official the UFC has already put their stamp on Strikeforce changing one of the rules that kept Strikeforce its own entity. UFC officials have declared grounded elbow strikes LEGAL in Strikeforce now, going into effect at the promotion’s next event. Strikeforce will now be using all “Unified MMA Rules”.
The UFC has also announced that Showtime will receive input on how to run the show but there is no word yet on whether or not Showtime will comply with UFC suggestions at this point as they are still yet to say anything about the sale.
