For the first time in a long time, fans in Montreal were treated to a high quality local MMA show. The Ringside MMA promotion in Montreal continues to impressive and delivers high quality action.

This past Saturday saw the return of local hero Patrick’’ the Predator’’ Cote win a decision over Kalib Starnes. The co main event had Roger Hollett KO Martin Desilets in a highly entertaining scrap featuring two of Canada’s best light heavyweights.

The fight that stole the show and possibly the fight of the year was the battle between Mitch Gagnon and Rejean Groulx. Gagnon would defeat Groulx by a vicious slam. Here are the results of the card.

Main Card

Patrick Cote defeats Kalib Starnes by Unanimous decision
Roger Hollett defeats Martin Desilets punches round2
Mitch Gagnon defeats Rejean Groulx by TKO (slam) round 3
Seth Baczynski defeats Alex Garcia by TKO round 2
Iraj Hadin defeats Derek Gauthier by unanimous decision

Prelims

Mike Ricci defeats Jesse Ronson by TKO round1
Kevin Morin defeats Guillaume Lamarche by unanimous decision
Lenard Terrance defeats Robert Masson by KO round 1
Valerie Letourneau defeats Julie Malenfant TKO round 2

Aftermath

Ringside welterweight champion Chris Clements who was injured will more than likely now face Seth Baczynski. Steve Bosse who also was injured will now defend his ringside light heavyweight title against Roger Hollett. Let’s hope there is a rematch between Mitch Gagnon and Rejean Groulx. If not Gagnon can always rematch Will Romero or face undefeated Tim Wadsworth. The point is Ringside has a lot of options for its featherweight champion.
