Amir Khan – Paul McCloskey: Shocking Fight Results

By “Bad” Brad Berkwitt

WBA Junior Welterweight Champion Amir Khan, 25-1, 17 KO’s successfully defended his title by winning a six round technical decision over previously unbeaten Paul McCloskey, 22-1, 12 KO’s last night at the M.E.N. Arena in Manchester, England. “King” Khan was in control for the most of the fight until a nasty cut ended the fight in the sixth round.

Khan has a scheduled date to face fellow belt holder Timothy Bradley this July in a fight that at least on paper, looks very good.
