Karen Beishuizen \u2013 Lead\u00a0 Feature Writer For Entertainment\/Social Issues \u2013 Holland<\/strong><\/p>\n

Born in Holland in 1969, she fell in love with music, books, movies, art, photography and writing at an early age. She left her native Holland in 1992 and moved to Germany where she lived for 11 years.<\/p>\n

Then she got a chance to move to San Francisco to work there on a Sponsored Visa. She stayed for 4 years and loved every minute of it. The City by The Bay became her favorite city in the world, and it still is. She goes back there as often as she can.<\/p>\n

She wrote the original story for her American script \u201d Badge of Trust \u201d when she was 17. She approached Director James Fargo (Dirty Harry) in 2008 to help her turn it into a screenplay. Some of the attached cast includes Terence Knox and Michael Badalucco.<\/p>\n

She is working other scripts and treatments: 1 French Action Thriller, 1 Dutch Action Thriller, 1 Tragic Love Story, 1 Dark Noir Thriller and an Unnamed Project about former Drug Lord Steve Brown who lives in Amsterdam. She is helping him turn his autobiography into a movie script. She did a screenwriting seminar with Director Guillermo Arriaga in 2012.<\/p>\n

As she is a keen photographer, she had her first photo exhibition at The Westminster Library London in 2014.<\/p>\n

She moved to Ireland in 2019 and lived there for almost 3 years. She rescued her beloved dog Leo here from the dog pound in Galway when he was 1 year old.<\/p>\n

She moved back to her native country Holland in August 2022 and of course Leo came with her. She is still living in Holland. She continues to work on her many projects with her Dutch and American scripts being read by producers and hopefully being made into movies.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
