George Anthony is a former police officer that is an emotional wreck over the situation. He has a dead granddaughter, Caylee, and a daughter, Casey, on trial for the murder. To make matters worse, George is also being accused of molesting his daughter and being responsible for the death & cover up of Caylee. <\/p>\n

When this case first hit the news, the media circus was in town, and the Anthonys could not get a breather, which became too much for George. He reportedly attempted suicide, and now, as he takes the stand, you can see the anguish in his eyes and voice, as he recalls the terrible smell that he encountered in the car. He smelled a dead body.<\/p>\n

He is speaking from experience, having encountered the smell before, but the current smell from the allegations against him from his own daughter may be more troublesome. How difficult it must be for him to still be in the corner of his daughter despite being called a molester and a murderer.<\/p>\n

The defense is being forceful in the examination of George, but he is holding his own. You have to feel for him and his wife Cindy over the current situation. Daughter Casey isn\u2019t getting much sympathy at this point.<\/p>\n
