A bombshell in the Casey Anthony trial: Prosecutors stated today that a woman sharing the same prison as Casey, in the cell directly next to her, had a child that drowned in a swimming pool, near identical to the story that the Defense is presenting. <\/p>\n

Prosecutor Linda Drane Burdick stated that the new information was the result of a phone call from a citizen last week and it is still under investigation, but has been a hot topic today. The state investigation team went to speak with the woman that was sharing the same cell block and she insisted that she had not spoken with Casey Anthony.<\/p>\n

The Defense insists that Caylee Anthony, daughter of Casey, drowned in a swimming pool. George Anthony, Casey\u2019s father, attempted to cover it up to save his daughter, leaving the body in the woods, which would later be found.<\/p>\n

The Prosecution contends that Casey killed her daughter and dumped her body into the woods after placing her into the trunk of her car, which they have tried to prove with the numerous specialists that confirm that presence of decomposition. Eye witnesses that have dealt with death and decomposition before, have confirmed that they recognized it to be that smell, despite the Defense\u2019s claim that it was the smell of rancid garbage.<\/p>\n

The trial continues and continues to get interesting. If this prison mate should step forward and confirm that she spoke to Casey, it could be the last nail in her coffin. Stay tuned\u2026<\/p>\n
