Mark Lippman, the attorney said that the couple did not want their daughter to be executed for the crime, but they are far from convinced that she is innocent. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Casey Anthony is on trial for first degree murder and her Defense Team has been fighting back against a mountain of circumstantial evidence presented by the Prosecution, linking her to the death of her 2 year old daughter, Caylee.<\/p>\n<p>The Defense has attempted to shift blame to Casey\u2019s father, George, not only stating that he attempted to cover up the death of Caylee, but is also a molester, having traumatized the defendant throughout her childhood. This defense has been used before.
