The investigation will center on Biden\u2019s family\u2019s business dealings. McCarthy will instruct the House led by the Oversight Committee \u201cto open a formal impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden.\u201d It\u2019s so comical that it\u2019s hard to believe it\u2019s real, yet it\u2019s the truth.<\/p>\n<p>McCarthy claimed that from what they\u2019ve seen in investigations thus far \u201cpaint a picture of a culture of corruption\u201d surrounding the Biden family. Republicans are specifically probing the business dealings of Hunter Biden, the president\u2019s son, way before his father became president and took office. \u201cThese are allegations of abuse of power, obstruction and corruption, and they warrant further investigation by the House of Representatives,\u201d McCarthy said at the Capitol. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The White House gave a rapid response to McCarthy\u2019s decision calling it \u201cextreme politics at its worst.\u201d Spokesman Ian Sams said of the news, \u201cHouse Republicans have been investigating the president for nine months, and they\u2019ve turned up no evidence of wrongdoing.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>McCarthy\u2019s far-right rat pack &#8211; the Freedumb Caucus &#8211; has been pressuring him to open the investigation or be ousted from his position. The AP notes in its reporting that this is added to the fact that he\u2019s \u201cstruggling to pass legislation to avoid a government shutdown at the end of the month.\u201d Honestly, this is the most predictable thing he\u2019s done.<\/p>\n<p>I truly wonder how McCarthy is able to stand up at all without any spine or backbone &#8211; a real scientific mystery. The best part though is how Trump and his family, like Jared Kushner\u2019s $2 billion payday from the Saudis, outdo any sort of family business crimes that Biden\u2019s could think of.
