The cause of death was cancer. He was 86.<\/p>\n<p>Eddy\u2019s career began in the 1950s. His debut album \u201cHave \u2018Twangy Guitar Will Travel\u201d, was released in 1958, and featured the singles \u201cRebel-Rouser\u201d and \u201cCannonball\u201d and placed #5 on the Billboard 200. Following the release of \u201cHave \u2018Twangy Guitar Will Travel\u201d, Eddy had a string of hit records which were noted for their characteristically \u201ctwangy\u201d sound, which Eddy would become known for.
