The album produced three hit singles: \u201cDown to Earth\u201d, \u201cMisfit\u201d and \u201cOrdinary Day\u201d.<br \/>\nThe video for \u201cMisfit\u201d was shot in New York City and featured Andy Warhol.<\/p>\n<p>Their second album \u201cGetahead\u201d was released in 1989 and had the hit single \u201cname and Number\u201d. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Due to disappointing album sales the band was dropped by their record company.<br \/>\nBassist Nick Thorpe left the band in 1991. The band shortened their name to \u201cCuriosity\u201d and was signed by RCA Records in 1992 and had another hit with the Johnny Bristol\u2019s cover \u201cHang on in There Baby\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The band split up in 1994. They reformed in 2001 for a show on BBC 1.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Fast Forward to 2024:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>The band disappeared in anonymity with only singer Ben appearing at the occasional 80s music festivals under the band\u2019s original name.<\/p>\n<p>The band had a lot of potential with their funky music and the way they looked but unfortunately it wasn\u2019t meant to be.
