He was found dead at home with his wife Michele Singer Reiner who was 68.<br \/>\nThe couple were slain and their son Nick has been charged with their murders. Rob Reiner played Meathead in the sitcom \u201cAll-in the Family\u201d for which he won an Emmy in 1974 and 1978 turned director in the early 80s. In a career that lasted more than 40 years, his directing credits were:<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>\u201cThis is Spinal Tap\u201d<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong><em>\u201cThe Sure Thing\u201d<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong><em>\u201cStand By Me\u201d,<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong><em>\u201cThe Princess Bride\u201d<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong><em>\u201cWhen Harry Met Sally\u201d<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong><em>\u201cMisery\u201d<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong><em>\u201cA Few Good Men\u201d<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong><em>\u201cThe American President\u201d<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong><em>\u201cGhosts of Mississippi\u201d<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong><em>\u201cThe Bucket List\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>He had released \u201cSpinal Tap II: The End Continues\u201d in September and \u201cSpinal Tap at Stonehenge: The Final Finale\u201d is due to be released in 2026.<\/p>\n<p>In 2008, he co-founded the American Foundation for Equal Rights, which fought for same-sex-marriage rights in California.<\/p>\n<p>Rob and Michele Reiner are survived by a daughter, two sons, daughter-in-law and grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p>Ringside Report sends their condolences to The Reiner Family in their time of grief.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;
