She was 71.<\/p>\n<p>She also starred as Moira Rose in \u201cSchitt&#8217;s Creek\u201d, Cookie Fleck in \u201cBest In Show\u201d, Gail Lynden in \u201cThe Last of Us\u201d and Patty Leigh in \u201cThe Studio\u201d. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Her on-screen acting debut was in 1975 on \u201cThe Wayne &amp; Shuster Show\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Some of her other work include \u201cDick Tracy\u201d, \u201cTales from the Crypt\u201d, \u201cBeetlejuice\u201d and \u201cArgylle\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>She won an Emmy for her work on SCTV Network in 1982 and in 2020 for playing Moira Rose in \u201cSchitt\u2019s Creek\u201d. Nominated eight other times for acting and writing, she was a double nominee in 2025 for her role as Gail Lynden in \u201cThe Last of Us\u201d and for her role as Patty Leigh in \u201cThe Studio\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Catherine O\u2019Hara was born on 4 March 1954 in Toronto.<\/p>\n<p>She is survived by her husband Bo Welch, and two sons Matthew and Luke.<\/p>\n<p>Ringside Report sends their condolences to The O\u2019Hara \/ Welch Family in their time of grief.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;
