Pufnstuf\u201d died on Friday, 10 April. He was 96.<\/p>\n<p>He and his brother Marty were hired by NBC in 1968 to design the costumes for \u201dThe Banana Split Adventure Hour\u201d and they became an instant hit.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>When NBC asked them the following year to come up with an idea for another show, they created \u201cH.R. Pufnstuf\u201d and even The Beatles became fans!<\/p>\n<p>Ringside Report sends their condolences to The Krofft Family in their time of grief.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;
