Once you are there, look at your left. You will see a very familiar looking building with a clock tower:<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>King\u2019s Cross Station. Yes, the one with Platform Nine and Three-Quarters from The Harry Potter movies.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>You can go inside and look for it, have your picture taken or visit the Harry Potter shop.<\/p>\n<p>When you are outside again, walk back towards St. Pancras and pass it by. You will see a big red hotel: St. Pancras Hotel.<\/p>\n<p>Inside you will see a grand staircase which was used in the music video for \u201cWannabe\u201d was shot with The Spice Girls dancing down the steps.<\/p>\n<p>Outside again keep walking down Euston Road, away from the hotel, and you see an impressive building that looks a bit like The Pentagon:<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>The British Library<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>One of the largest libraries in the world which houses over 200 million items.<\/p>\n<p>If you are interested in this, do go inside. It is free and worth it.<\/p>\n<p>Otherwise continue on Euston Road towards Baker Street Station. Once you are there you will see Madame Tussaud\u2019s (a big green globe), the famous wax museum.<\/p>\n<p>On the crossing of Euston Road and Baker Street you have the option of visiting The Sherlock Holmes Museum and The Beatles Store. Just follow the signs for this.<\/p>\n<p>We cross the road and walk down Baker Street in southern direction. A bit of a long walk but very enjoyable. You will notice that Baker Street changes in Portman Square and Orchard Street but just keep walking.<\/p>\n<p>And then you see it in front of you:<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Oxford Street!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Directly on your left you see Selfridges! The famous department store from the series \u201cMr. Selfridge\u201d!<\/p>\n<p>Do go inside and stroll around. It is beautiful!<\/p>\n<p>Continue our walk, we will pass by Selfridges down Oxford Street until we get to a huge 4-way crossing with big zebras: Oxford Circus!<\/p>\n<p>We look for Regent Street and walk down here until we come to another London landmark:<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Piccadilly Circus!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>The heart of London with many theatres, cafes, restaurants and bars!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>On the circus you see the Aros Statue and a big white Victorian building: this is Lillywhites, one of the biggest sport stores in the world.<\/p>\n<p>Follow the signs for another London landmark: Leicester Square where many movie premieres have taken place over the years.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of Leicester Square you see Charing Cross Road with all its bookshops. Follow the road towards yet another landmark:<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Trafalgar Square!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Here you will see the beautiful fountains and The National Gallery which houses some of the most incredible paintings in the world, including Van Gogh, Leonardo Da Vinci, Monet, Rubens and Picasso.<\/p>\n<p>Entrance is free and very worth it!<\/p>\n<p>On Trafalgar Square you look ahead and you see something very familiar:<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>The Big Ben!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>We will walk towards Ben and are on Whitehall now. This is the political heart of London. All ministeries are here, you see the Horse Guards in uniforms sitting on their horses and then you see a gated street with police outside:<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>This is Downing Street where the UK Prime Minister lives!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Keep walking down Whitehall until you get to a square:<\/p>\n<p>On your left you see in all his glory Big Ben, The Houses of Parliament and The Westminster Abbey where all the Royal Crowning and Funeral ceremonies took place over the years.<\/p>\n<p>If you look passed Big Ben, you see the Westminster Bridge, the river Thames and The London Eye.<\/p>\n<p>In the middle of the square you see a small park with statues of Winston Churchill and Nelson Mandela.<\/p>\n<p>Look for Great George Street and we walk this down. It change into Birdcage Walk.<\/p>\n<p>On your right you see a big park: St. James\u2019s Park which is stunning with a big pond in the middle.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of Birdcage Walk you see what you came to see in London:<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Buckingham Palace!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>You can visit the palace during summer months when Charles and Camilla are in Scotland or at any other residence. Book your tickets in advance!<\/p>\n<p>We walk down the road to the right of the palace: Constitution Hill.<\/p>\n<p>This leads you to The Wellington Arch and Hyde Park Corner Station.<\/p>\n<p>Walk up Brompton Road and you see something familiar again:<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Harrods!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Go inside and stroll around because It is gorgeous!<\/p>\n<p>Keep walking down on Brompton Road and you see a museum with a dome:<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>The Victoria and Albert Museum!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>A bit further down another stunning building:<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>The Natural History Museum!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Between these two museums is Exhibition Road. We walk up there.<br \/>\nYou see The Imperial College, lots of embassies and societies.<\/p>\n<p>At the end of Exhibition Road, we turn left (Kensington Road) and walk a bit and then you see something that will leave you speechless left and right.<\/p>\n<p>One of the most famous music venues in the whole world:<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>The Royal Albert Hall!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>And right across from it: The Albert Memorial!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Queen Victoria was so devastated when her beloved husband Albert died, she had these two built in his honor.<\/p>\n<p>We continue on Kensington Road and, opposite The Embassy of The Netherlands, you see a park:<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Kensington Gardens!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>We walk in here and in the middle you see Kensington Palace where Princess Diana used to live.<\/p>\n<p>At the back of the palace is a beautiful flower garden and well worth a look.<\/p>\n<p>As we walk on the broad walkway in the park towards the exit on the other side, you see across the road a small cafe which serves delicious food:<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Cafe Diana!<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Named after the beloved princess and it has pictures of her all over the walls inside. Even a picture of her with the owner!<\/p>\n<p>You have 2 options now:<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Walk towards Notting Hill if you want to see Portobello Road or walk in the opposite direction down Bayswater Road if you want to see Hyde Park and Marble Arch.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>From any of the underground stations you can get back to St. Pancras Station where we started.<\/p>\n<p>We have not seen everything yet, so there will be a Part II.<\/p>\n<p>For now I hope you enjoyed this walking tour through London!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;
