He was 88.<\/p>\n<p>Being a huge fan of Mr. Hockney, this fucking hurts!<\/p>\n<p>I went especially to Paris last year to see 400 works on display in the exhibition \u201cDavid Hockney 25\u201d at Fondation Louis Vuitton.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>So glad now I decided to go then!<\/p>\n<p>I got to see my favorite painting \u201cMr. and Mrs. Clark and Percy\u201d!<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Hockney loved colors. They were splashed all over his paintings.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA Bigger Splash\u201d and \u201cPortrait of an Artist (Pool with Two Figures)\u201d made him famous all over the world.<\/p>\n<p>His career spanned more than sixty years in which he painted more than 2,000 paintings.<\/p>\n<p>Here is a list of his most famous works:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPeter Getting Out of Nick\u2019s Pool\u201d &#8211; 1966<br \/>\n\u201cA Bigger Splash\u201d &#8211; 1967<br \/>\n\u201cAmerican Collectors (Fred &amp; Marcia Weisman)\u201d \u2013 1968<br \/>\n\u201cChristopher Sherwood and Don Bachardy\u201d \u2013 1968<br \/>\n\u201cMr. and Mrs. Clark and Percy\u201d &#8211; 1970<br \/>\n\u201cPortrait of an Artist (Pool with Two Figures)\u201d &#8211; 1972<br \/>\n\u201cMy Parents\u201d \u2013 1977<br \/>\n\u201cMulholland Drive: The Road to the Studio\u201d \u2013 1980<br \/>\n\u201cNichols Canyon\u201d \u2013 1980<br \/>\n\u201cThe Road to York Through Sledmere\u201d &#8211; 1997<br \/>\n\u201cGarrowby Hill\u201d \u2013 1998<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Hockney will be sorely missed but never forgotten.<\/p>\n<p>Forever in my heart.
