He was convicted in the deaths of 11 Cleveland-area women between 2007 and 2009.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>On July 22nd, the jury convicted Sowell on 11 counts of aggravated murder, along with other charges that included abusing corpses and kidnapping.<\/p>\n<p>This Monday, if the jury decides to give him the death penalty, the judge could overrule it and give Sowell life, but if they decided to give him life, the judge cannot overrule that and give him the death penalty.<\/p>\n<p>Anthony Sowell\u2019s terror spree is over no matter what.  He will never be a free man and that should allow the people rest a little easier.
