It became part of Wetherspoon in 1998. An interesting fact is that the building once had a plane on top for a film release. Guest ales are a favorite, together with chicken wings. With the building having previously had stage show appearances, you can find images on the pub’s walls that show some of the acts. Whilst it was only the foyer and stalls on the ground floor, that became the Ritz Wetherspoon, the decor style has been kept. The walls are all the classic wood of an English pub, but Art-Deco details and designs are included throughout. Large staircases lead to the upper level, where you can get to the bar. Ritz is a landmark in Lincoln because of the Neon lights that run all around the outside brick work. Check it out when you are in the area!

KB: Since when does the building exist and when did it become a Wetherspoon pub?

Ritz Cinema in Lincoln was built in 1936.
