The officers were convicted of charges, coming from the fact that they attempted to cover up the shootings. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The Prosecution contended during the trial that the officers shot unarmed people without justification and without warning, killing two and wounding four more on September 4th, 2005. They then attempted to cover it up by getting people to falsely testify and concoct reports.
