{"id":14901,"date":"2011-08-23T11:09:41","date_gmt":"2011-08-23T15:09:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ringsidereport.com\/?p=14901"},"modified":"2011-08-23T11:09:41","modified_gmt":"2011-08-23T15:09:41","slug":"amir-khan-boxing-shocker-victory-in-question","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ringsidereport.com\/?p=14901","title":{"rendered":"Amir Khan Boxing SHOCKER \u2013 Victory in Question"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\" http:\/\/ringsidereport.com\/?p=14901\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-631\" style=\"margin-left: 10px; margin-right: 10px;\" title=\"Amir Khan header\" src=\"http:\/\/ringsidereport.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/Amir-Khan-header11.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"232\" height=\"169\" \/><\/a>Zab &#8220;Super&#8221; Judah has filed a protest with the Nevada Athletic Commission and has also sent letters to both the WBA and the IBF requesting that those organizations order a rematch with Amir Khan.<\/p>\n<p>According to the protest letter, Judah&#8217;s requests are predicated upon the inappropriate actions of the referee, who was clearly not in a position to see the low blow administered by Khan which ended the fight, as well as the referee&#8217;s reluctance to sanction Khan for repetitious hitting behind the head and holding Judah down throughout the bout.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>A copy of the letter that was sent to the WBA, as well as the IBF and the Nevada Athletic Commission outlining the details of Khan&#8217;s infractions, is attached, along with a link to the video tape illustrating the repeated fouls, is attached.<\/p>\n<p>Bill Halkias, Super Judah Promotions, &#8220;We know Zab was behind on the scores cards but there are numerous examples in boxing history where boxers that were behind came back with a knockout. The fact that Zab was behind has no bearing on whether the low blow call was wrong. We still had seven more rounds to fight.
