\"\"<\/a>WBO Inter-Continental Welterweight Champion Frankie Gavin has upped sticks and moved to London, where he will be coached by the world renowned father and son coaching team Jimmy and Mark Tibbs at the TRAD TKO Boxing Gym in Canning Town.<\/p>\n

By making the move the former Amateur World Lightweight Champion once again links up with former Team GB team mate Billy Joe Saunders, as well as joins WBO Inter-Continental Lightweight Champion Kevin Mitchell, former IBO World Light Welterweight Champion Colin Lynes plus upcoming prospects Billy Morgan, Vinny Mitchell, Peter McDonagh, Frankie Buglione, Freddie Turner, Charlie Hoy and Nathan Weise, who are also coached by the dynamic duo at the World famous gym.<\/p>\n

Speaking earlier today Frankie said, \u201cIt\u2019s really good being here with Jimmy and Mark, yeah, I\u2019m already doing things I haven\u2019t done before and I think there\u2019ll be a big improvement.<\/p>\n

I was learning all the time under Arnie (Anthony Farnell) but I needed a change really, so I\u2019m happy to be at the TKO now.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s good to be back with Billy Joe (Saunders), we were together as amateurs and it\u2019s good to be in the gym with him again, because we have similar styles and we\u2019re both class operators. We\u2019re both on top of our game and as long as I get back to what I\u2019ve been doing and being around Kevin Mitchell and all the other fighters in the gym I\u2019ll be back to my best.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m looking forward to getting some sparring with Kevin (Mitchell), he\u2019s a world class operator, so hopefully that\u2019ll be soon.<\/p>\n

I\u2019m going to get an apartment down here in the next few weeks, it\u2019s a sacrifice you\u2019ve got to make really. I\u2019m just going to keep my head down and I\u2019ll soon be World Champion.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jimmy Tibbs then spoke briefly, on Frankie joining his stable, \u201cObviously he\u2019s a very good fighter, he won the World Championships as an amateur a couple of years ago.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s a very, very skillful boxer, very talented indeed. We\u2019re very pleased to have him in the camp and I think we can add more to what he\u2019s already got.<\/p>\n

The boys down here love good fighters, all the boys are training hard and Frankie adds another good fighter to the camp, Mark and myself are very pleased to have Frankie here with us.\u201d<\/p>\n
