I ran across many people today and the same question was asked: \u201cWhere were you when the planes hit the towers?\u201d I was in a marketing class at Springfield Technical Community College and as I dismissed shortly after the second plane hit. I walked into a crowded lunchroom where we all stood and watched in disbelief as they replayed the footage of the second crash. The chaos and fear consumed everyone.<\/p>\n

Yesterday, much of the footage of the day was replayed, including the Today Show, prior to the event. It was one of those moments where you realized you were living through history. Although it was a terrible event, it still showed that there was a genuine love for each other, at least temporarily. People were nicer and that became the story afterwards.<\/p>\n

Since 9\/11, our lives have changed, both through the way we see life as well as the rules and regulations that have been imposed. No matter what happened on 9\/11, who was involved, who wasn\u2019t involved, it was a moment in time and history that had a major impact worldwide and will be something that my generation will tell their grandchildren about.<\/p>\n

The tragedy of that day was the lost lives, those that worked in the rubble and told that it was safe, only to die from it later on, and the fact that the truth is still hidden and only speculation remains. 9\/11 had a major impact on me, personally, a moment in time that I will never forget and it is a shame that so many innocent people had to lose their lives and are still losing their lives from a never-ending tragedy.<\/p>\n
