One moment in time changed the life of Ron Zuccaro (AKA- Ron Martinelli). A terrible accident that left him unable to walk in the eyes of the doctor led to a triumph of the human spirit by a man determined to defy the odds. Ron Zuccaro\u2019s story is one of inspiration and faith, and one that I found incredibly enjoyable.<\/p>\n

The picture painted by Zuccaro is vivid, as he takes us into the Vietnam War from his hospital bed, bringing flashbacks to the times when he fought for his life, encountered death and began finding conflicts between his own thoughts and his faith in his God. The war scenes are written honestly and you are brought right to the front line. Zuccaro is able to present the images through his writing well. <\/p>\n

The time in the hospital bed brings forth many flashbacks, but his time is also one of reflection and hope and he insists that he will walk again and return to the world of professional wrestling, a career that seemed to have been cut \"\"<\/a>incredibly\u00a0short by the accident. Odds were highly against it, but he maintained faith and proceeded to stay positive.<\/p>\n

This is a \u201cfeel good\u201d sort of book with some grit. I really enjoyed the flashbacks into Vietnam and the no holds barred approach with the presentation. The message to chase your dreams and that goals can be achieved become the theme to this book, which is a message that is sincerely missed with today\u2019s society. I was happy to see that Zuccaro brought this back.<\/p>\n

For those that identify as Christians, the message will probably hit closer to home. It is also a good book for those with loved ones that are in the military and in war. The depictions and feelings that a soldier has are put forth very well.<\/p>\n

In the end, I recommend HEAVEN, IRON AND I, an inspirational book, written well with a good message and great presentation.<\/p>\n
