In the period since his triumphant comeback against Samuel Peter for the WBC heavyweight crown two years ago Vitali Klitschko has managed to do the unlikely on a regular basis and at an age where former heavyweight greats were long since retired or deemed ancient and used-up; successfully defend the heavyweight championship and slowly work towards building an unlikely legacy. Scoff if you will but the elder Klitschko has effectively demonstrated staying power and willingness to do the job to the point where he must now be measured, begrudgingly or otherwise, against some of the more celebrated former heavies of the recent and distant past. \u201cVitali Klitschko \u2013 Where Does He Rate in Heavyweight History\u201d poses the question to you, asking if he is as bad as some hold or as effective as others such as yours truly believe, relative to those that fans so often place atop an Olympian perch.<\/p>\n
