The Defense team for accused murderer, Jodi Arias, has asked for a mistrial or the dismissal of a juror. It has now been revealed that the juror has made comments regarding the case to others and their impartiality has been called into question. There are currently five alternate jurors and most likely, one will be assigned and the one in question will be removed. <\/p>\n

A domestic violence expert has been brought in and this will further call the character of Travis Alexander, the victim, into question. The initial stories from Arias involved masked intruders that murdered her boyfriend and terrorized her. Prior to that, she stated that she was nowhere near Alexander that day. Nancy Grace, the talk show host that lives off of court cases has had a field day with this case. Grace got a great deal of her popularity off the \u201cTot Mom\u201d Casey Anthony case. She is hoping to turn this into a ratings bonanza too.<\/p>\n

There are apparently some emails from the victim where there are references to the abuse of women and there may be some validity to him not being the nicest guy in the world, but the Defense will have to paint him in a very dark light to get Arias away from the charges. If they take a page out of the Casey Anthony playbook, they\u2019ve got a chance.<\/p>\n

Over time, Casey Anthony became a victim, and much of the focus shifter to her father as a sexual abuser. The jury bought into it and the prosecution may have pushed too hard to paint her as a killer. Anthony looked like a victim and Arias may be able to assume that role herself and claim victory here.<\/p>\n
