Good Evening RSR Readers. It\u2019s a rainy night here tonight in good ole Virginia. Monday I followed up with article that had email responses to my article: \u201cThe Manny Pacquiao \u2013 Floyd Mayweather JR Pound for Pound Lie,\u201d with my theory that all of the antics from both teams were to pump up a boxing match that really at this point, needs no more obstacles in its way to be signed.<\/p>\n

Well, the responses poured in once again from both sides of the fence ranging from the absurd to totally some being on the same page, and even those somewhere in between. I thought it would be fun to once again post some of the responses to this article.

I read many of the comments from the fools and the real boxing folks. I agree with the Professor D on his comments and what do you think would get them both in a room together alone to work this mess out?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I also as you read agreed 1000% with Professor D. What will it take? Well, egos to be checked at the door. Two men that are on the top of their games which they are, but translate that same skill into sitting and talking. It would almost be like a President of the US talking with another World Leader that was a decent Leader, but there were strains between them.<\/p>\n

Your theory has merit, but do you really think a man of Manny’s caliber would hold out like this because he did in fact, take steroids and did not want it to come out in the blood tests?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I honestly want to believe in my heart that Manny never took one steroid or enhancement and I do believe that. However, nobody really knows and I can say this, if it ever came out that he did, it would not only tarnish his boxing career, but hurt the entire sport of boxing. Again, I think these are just all BS games to pump up the fight which as I stated repeatedly, needs no more hype to be the biggest fight in history.<\/p>\n

Thank you for writing in and Dong Secuya (Owner of Pacland) and I go back now for many years. His love for everything Manny is impressive and he supports RSR as we support Pacland. I cannot say I know Manny anymore than you do, or I would be like those people out there who take a picture with someone and then, they are best friends with that fighter or celebrity. But I do agree, let’s get this fight made.<\/p>\n

Are we any closer to making this fight happen? Only both Team Pacquiao and Team Mayweather really know. I know this, boxing is losing ground to the MMA for sure and the way it gains it back is by making big fights happen on a regular basis. The stadium thing is the way to go. Showtime is doing something I love in the Super Six Tournament and we need more of these in every weight class if possible. Could you imagine the exposure it would bring to boxing and also to fighters that really can fight, but are never heard of?<\/p>\n
