A week before I was on weight and I was able to work. Losing the weight wasn\u2019t a problem and it didn\u2019t take my strength away\u2026I made a better fight this time and we won more clearly. I proved to all the people I\u2019m a better fighter than Bryan Vera.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>[On fighting Gennady Golovkin] I like that fight because Gennady Golovkin is a great fighter, a strong fighter. He\u2019s undefeated. One of the best in the middleweight division. I\u2019d like to fight Gennady Golovkin next.<\/p>\n<p>Bryan Vera: I found out four days ago that it was a twelve round fight. We trained for a ten-rounder. It\u2019s always something when we come to these f**king fights. But I\u2019m a fighter, I always give people a great fight.<\/p>\n<p>There was some discussion of Chavez facing Golovkin in a July 12 pay-per-views promotion, but K2 Promotions managing director Tom Loeffler made it known Saturday that due to the recent death of Golovkin\u2019s father, the champ will now take some time off from the ring.
