{"id":4002,"date":"2010-08-03T00:00:27","date_gmt":"2010-08-03T04:00:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ringsidereport.com\/?p=4002"},"modified":"2010-08-02T19:07:26","modified_gmt":"2010-08-02T23:07:26","slug":"twilight-zone-little-girl-lost","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ringsidereport.com\/?p=4002","title":{"rendered":"Twilight Zone: Little Girl Lost"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><a rel=\"http:\/\/ringsidereport.com\/?p=4002 \" href=\"http:\/\/ringsidereport.com\/?p=4002 \"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-636\" style=\"margin-left: 10px; margin-right: 10px;\" title=\"Twilight Zone Header\" src=\"http:\/\/ringsidereport.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/01\/Twilight-Zone-Header11.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"232\" height=\"169\" \/><\/a>Reviewed by Geno McGahee <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ruth (Sarah Marshall) and Chris Miller (Robert Sampson) are awoken in the middle of the night by screams of their daughter, Bettina (Tracy Stratford).\u00a0 When Chris runs to her room, he can\u2019t find her, but he can still here her, and now his dog is missing too!\u00a0 He can\u2019t figure it out.\u00a0 He can here her under the bed, but when he looked under there, there was nothing.\u00a0 Ruth and Chris begin to panic and decide that their friend, Bill (Charles Aidman) would be able to figure out this situation.\u00a0<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Bill, who also has the tightest pants known to man at the time (In 1962, Spandex was unheard of), arrives and investigates and concludes that Bettina must be in another dimension and finds the portal in the wall right next to the bed.\u00a0 Apparently, she fell out of bed and walked right into it, and now cannot find her way out.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>There is a lot that Poltergeist took from this episode.\u00a0 I couldn\u2019t help but to see the similarities between this situation and the one that Carol Anne was in so many years later, but what show or movie hasn\u2019t been influenced by TZ?\u00a0 Well, maybe Mr. Belvedere.<\/p>\n<p>The screams prompt Chris to jump through the portal and find his daughter, but the door is closing and he has very little time.\u00a0 Will he find his dog?\u00a0 Will he find his daughter?\u00a0\u00a0 Will he get bored and find himself if you know what I mean?\u00a0 You\u2019ll have to watch and see.<\/p>\n<p>Little Girl Lost isn\u2019t a great episode of TZ, but it is compelling and the fact that Rod Serling dealt with things like this and put it across in a serious and believable way makes it worth a watch.\u00a0 I do recommend this episode\u2026it\u2019s hard not to recommend a TZ episode, but it is definitely not the best one out there.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>RSR Rating: 6.5\/10.
