Prescott came out strong, landing some hard shots early and rattling his opponent, but Cuello adjusted and was able to absorb some good punches, lasting the full ten rounds. There wasn’t much Cuello could do to overcome Prescott’s multiple advantages, but he did mock Prescott and got into his head a little, setting up his punches.

Prescott is still a big factor in the welterweight division and is best known for his first round stoppage of the highly touted Amir Khan. Back to back losses recently have derailed his career, but he’s back to his winning ways and may still find welterweight gold in the near future.

SHOBOX

Maurice Harris, 24-14-2, 10 KO’s, resumed his role as spoiler, picking up the unanimous decision win over the #15 rated IBF Contender, Nagy Aguilera, 16-4, 11 KO’s, by scores of 117-111 (twice) and 115-113. Harris may be best known for his victory in the horrible PPV boxing tournament “Fistful of Dollars,” where reports indicated that he didn’t exactly pick up the “fistful” of dollars that was advertised.
