(Nasdaq:\u00a0ATVI<\/a>), announced today that all of its\u00a0Call of Duty\u00ae Elite<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0service features for\u00a0Call of Duty\u00ae: Black Ops II<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0will be free when the blockbuster game hits worldwide on 13th<\/sup>\u00a0November.\u00a0 WithCall of Duty Elite<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0free for\u00a0Call of Duty: Black Ops II<\/em><\/strong><\/a>, both new and veteranCall of Duty Elite<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0members alike will be able to enjoy the full range o\u00a0f Call of Duty Elite<\/em><\/strong>\u2019s robust service and features integrated into the highly-anticipated new game in development by award-winning studio Treyarch.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve learned a lot in our first year of\u00a0Call of Duty Elite<\/em><\/strong>, and we\u2019re very proud that we over delivered on our commitment of playable content to our premium members,\u201d said Activision Publishing CEO, Eric Hirshberg.\u00a0 \u201cWhat we have realised is that several of the\u00a0Call of Duty Elite<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0services which are currently only available to our premium members for\u00a0Call of Duty\u00ae: Modern Warfare\u00ae 3<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0are things that would further unite, engage and delight our player community.\u00a0 So we are going to make them free for\u00a0Call of Duty: Black Ops II<\/em><\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n

Supporting\u00a0Call of Duty: Black Ops II,<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0Activision will be selling four epic new Downloadable Content (DLC) Map Packs both \u00e1 la carte and through the introduction of the\u00a0Call of Duty: Black Ops II\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>Season Pass. Coming to the Xbox LIVE\u00ae online entertainment network first, the four\u00a0Call of Duty: Black Ops II<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0DLC Map Packs will deliver a variety of new Multiplayer and Zombies playable content and are expected to be available in 2013.\u00a0 The Season Pass will deliver all four\u00a0Call of Duty: Black Ops II<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0DLC Map Packs at a discounted suggested retail price of 4000 Microsoft Points* on Xbox LIVE Marketplace for Xbox 360\u00ae (discount based on four DLC Map Packs at a suggested retail price of 1200 Microsoft Points.\u00a0 Season Pass pre-orders are now available at select retail outlets, including GameStop.\u00a0 Season Pass and DLC Map Packs may not be available on all gaming platforms.\u00a0 Pricing and release dates may vary by platform.\u00a0 All\u00a0Call of Duty Elite\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>features and availability are subject to change.\u00a0 Further details regarding the 2013 calendar of\u00a0Call of Duty: Black Ops II<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0DLC Map Packs will be made available at a later date.<\/p>\n
