He was a very crafty and fast boxer that was hard to connect with a clean shot.

Were there any of your losses that you felt you should have won, and why?

Against Pacquiao’s brother Bobby, I felt I clearly did enough to win that fight. Against Jesus Chavez, at least it should have been a draw. His glove touched the canvas in the last round where the ref didn’t count it. They were good fights, but probably the one that sticks out the most is my first defeat against Aaron Zarate, from Mexico City, who Nacho Bernstein had. Zarate, was just in good condition, but I believe if I didn’t win I should have gotten a draw. This is just my humble opinion.

What is your favorite achievement in your career?

Definitely when I won my world title in front of the President of El Salvador and my Central American heroes, Roberto Duran and Alexis Arguello. What an unforgettable night.

Is there one single moment of your boxing career that stands out as your most favorite and why?

Of course winning the world title, but also when I fought Mayweather. The odd makers had it 30 to 1 that he would knock me out and all of his people were booing me in the beginning. In the end, his crowd was mine. It was an awesome feeling of inner victory

Thank you for taking the time to answer!
~Crackah Bling

Champ,

Who beats Floyd Mayweather?

Jeff

Jeff,

Floyd beats himself! Manny Pacquiao may have a chance as well.

Carlos,

What do you think the biggest downfall for any fighter is during their boxing career?

Tammy S.

Tammy,

Not listening to their wives! Just kidding… I think not being educated on how to run a business or a business product. I believe a young fighter whose s a hot commodity needs to be 100% involved with their own contracts obviously alongside an attorney, but understand what the promoter is doing. Also, an education is very important. You can do online classes while training for a big fight I believe. Case in point, look at Juan “Baby Bull” Diaz. What a great example of a fighter, training and studying to get his degree.

Famoso,

Spanish pride brother all da way……… Do you think Oscar delayhoya was that good? My all time favorite was Salvador Sanchez. That dude was the best! My goodness, his speed and power were incredible.
