A boxer from Topeka, Kansas, hopes to do what four previous opponents have tried to do: derail the Trey Lippe Morrison express.<\/p>\n

The pair will battle in a four-round heavyweight main event at an Oct. 11 card at Buffalo Run Casino.<\/p>\n

Lippe Morrison’s \u201cFour State Franchise\u201d teammates Jesse Cook and Jarrett Rouse will also be in action as will Lippe Morrison’s brother, Kinzie Witt.<\/p>\n

The 5-11, 220-pound Foster has a background in mixed martial arts. His MMA record is not clear: one source has it at 7-6 while another has him at 6-7.<\/p>\n

He is 2-5-1 as an amateur.<\/p>\n

All four of Lippe Morrison’s wins have been by a devastating knockout.<\/p>\n

He knocked out Kris Renty at 1:48 in the second round in his pro debut, then dropped Ronald Burchfield in 52 seconds of the first round, Marvin Babe in only 19 seconds and Emmit Woods with a crushing body shot at the 43-second mark of the first round in his most recent outing.<\/p>\n

Cook (12-0, 8 Kos) will face what could be his stiffest test yet: P.J. Krupp, a New Orleans welterweight who has eight knockouts among his 17 wins. Krupp has lost seven times.<\/p>\n

Rouse is transitioning to boxing after a career in kickboxing and mixed martial arts. His mother, Brenda Rouse, is a former world champion boxer and his father, Randy, is Lippe Morrison’s lead trainer.<\/p>\n

Witt, from Bartlesville by way of Colcord and Jay, will be making his pro debut against Babe (0-4), who had lost to Witt’s brother on June 28 in Oklahoma City.<\/p>\n

Witt and Lippe Morrison are sons of the late Tommy “The Duke” Morrison, a former world heavyweight boxing champ.<\/p>\n

The fifth fight on the card pits Landon Dirks (2-2-1) of Springfield, Missouri, meets Eric Cason (2-2, 2 Kos) of Davenport, Iowa, in a four-round cruiserweight fight.<\/p>\n

An original member of “The Four State Franchise” \u2013 Dillon Cook \u2013 will not fight on Oct. 11 while recovering from an elbow injury suffered prior to his six-round unanimous decision over Marteze Logan here on Aug. 16.<\/p>\n
