The bout is scheduled for 10 rounds with Telemundo airing the bout. The Jose Cuervo Salon, Polanco, Distrito Federal, Mexico will host. In Munguia\u2019s first and only time headlining on Telemundo, he upset former world title challenger Antonio Pitalua in 2012. Munguia\u2019s objective will be to the same with Ortega but he faces a much younger fighter this time around. Munguia at 35 will have to keep pace with the 23-year-old Ortega. Munguia isn\u2019t concerned with the age difference and is confident that experience with beat youth on Friday.<\/p>\n

Where does your nickname Sepulturero (english translation grave digger) come from?<\/p>\n

It actually comes from my profession. To be direct with you. I lay the deceased to rest for their burials for a living. My father has been in the business for years. I have been around it since I was a young child so it doesnt affect me. I\u2019m used to it. It\u2019s a part of life.<\/p>\n

How would you describe your style for those who have not seen you fight?<\/p>\n

I definitely like to mix it up. I\u2019m constantly coming forward. It\u2019s been effective for me throughout my career leading to multiple upset victories.<\/p>\n

You\u2019re 12 years older than your opponent. Any concerns there with youth in his favor?<\/p>\n

I have seen video of him fight and I don\u2019t see anything different than what I have already seen in my other fights. In terms of the age, I have defeated younger fighters with my style of fighting. Experience can be a major factor in my favor, as well in this fight.<\/p>\n

You\u2019re fighting in your hometown. Have you been able to avoid distractions to focus %100 on this fight?<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not a distraction for me at all fighting at home. I enjoy being around my people but when I\u2019m training, I\u2019m totally focused on my training. It\u2019s a good feeling fighting at home and I\u2019m very comfortable with it.<\/p>\n

Your last time on Telemundo you scored and upset of Pitalua. No doubt this is your intention this time around?<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a different fight but the objective is the same. I am ready to bring my all action style to the younger fighter. The fans watching on Telemundo can expect an action packed fight.<\/p>\n
