Schiller “Batman” Hyppolite, 13-1, 9 KO\u2019s is the current WBC FECARBOX Super Middleweight Champion. He is ranked number #15 in the IBF and on Saturday night’s Integrated Sports Media PPV in Montreal he faces Norbert Nemesapati, 15-1, 14 KO\u2019s in the 12-round co-feature to (Pascal vs. Bolonti) for the WBC International Super Middleweight title.<\/p>\n

BB: You didn\u2019t fight November 21st because Alan Campa had visa problems but Dec. 6 you\u2019re fighting Norbert Nemesapati. How is training going for this fight and do you have a prediction?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Training camp has been great. I’m more than ready and thrilled to go back into the ring. The only thing I can predict is that it’s going to be an exciting fight and that I will be the winner.<\/p>\n

BB: To date, who was your toughest opponent and why?<\/strong><\/p>\n

JJ McDonagh. He was patient and didn’t take many risks. I had to be more patient than usual. Most of the time, I use my opponent’s weaknesses to attack but he didn’t make any.<\/p>\n

BB: What is one thing outside of boxing that can you share about yourself that may surprise your fans?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I like sewing and baking pastries.<\/p>\n

BB: If you could meet one person from any time in history, who would it be and what would your first question be for them?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Wow that is a great question. There are a lot of people that I would like to meet, but I would like meet Malcolm X.. I would ask him how he stayed so strong during that time where being black itself was a crime.<\/p>\n

BB: Do you favor a mandatory retirement fund for all boxers and if so, how do you think it could finally be accomplished?<\/strong><\/p>\n

It would be a good idea but I have no clue how we could calculate that. I would like to have some kind of insurance if something really bad happens in the ring or if your opponent doesn’t show up. I also think that every boxer – all professional athletes- should prepare a back-up plan for their retirement.<\/p>\n

BB: Finally, what is the saying you live your life by?<\/strong><\/p>\n

You can do whatever you want in life but make sure to respect people along your path.<\/p>\n
