Boxing headlines have been consumed by the news that multi-division champion Manny Pacquiao is sick with what appears to be a cold possibly picked up by the many visitors that come to his training camp and watch him train.\u00a0 Team Pacquiao is\u00a0calling for him to return to the famed Wild Card Gym in Los Angeles, CA.\u00a0 Do you think that maybe this is a sign that Pacquiao made the wrong move by being dictated by dollars vice showing principal that he has shown in the past and would have really resonated in a great way throughout the Boxing world by turning this fight down?\u00a0<\/p>\n

This fight is the worst thing that can happen to our beloved sport of Boxing. A known cheater in \u201cHands of Plaster\u201d Antonio Margarito gets rewarded with the biggest payday of his career for cheating.\u00a0 Some fans now doubt Pacquiao can actually win. It is highly unlikely, but I can tell you this without any doubt, if \u201cHands of Plaster\u201d does win, look at the excuses that the Groupie Journalists will have on November 14th <\/sup>on why Manny lost!\u00a0<\/p>\n

And with the big \u201cIf\u201d, how does a Margarito win effect the entire sport of Boxing?\u00a0 Only in a negative light with headlines reading, \u201cCheater Wins!\u201d\u00a0 Or \u201cFormer Suspended Fighter Who Cheated Wins.\u201d\u00a0 ESPN will have Brian \u201cNo need to cite a source\u201d Kenny and Dan \u201cOnly my word means anything in Boxing\u201d Rafael screaming negative headlines and only the \u201cVoice of Reason\u201d Teddy Atlas, calling this what it is a farce.\u00a0 But the worst part will be that press groups who normally wouldn\u2019t give Boxing the time of day, will cover this travesty with tons of negative headlines that the general population of folks who don\u2019t watch the sport will only hear about the underbelly side of it.<\/p>\n

You will recall that when Floyd Mayweather, JR. had his PR Team lodge accusations about Manny taking steroids, the entire media jumped on it like an extremely overweight Groupie Journalist to a free press luncheon buffet.<\/p>\n

Boxing for years, has not been on network TV and with fights like this one, you can see why.\u00a0 Bob Arum may have outdone Don King at his worst and in fact, he makes Don King look like a true \u201cKing\u201d because I cannot recall a fight going down like this on King\u2019s watch!<\/p>\n

It\u2019s amazing that Arum condemned another cheater who loaded his gloves in Luis Resto, but when it comes to Antonio Margocheato, as Greg Leon of Boxing Talk named him, he gets a pass.\u00a0 News Flash Bobby\u2026.\u00a0 You can dress up a turd, but in the end, it\u2019s still a turd. \u00a0All the charity events, all the nice guy articles don\u2019t take away from the fact, that he cheated and damaged Miguel Cotto where he will never be the same fighter again.\u00a0 How about if we let Margocheato load his gloves and punch you several times in the grapes?\u00a0 Work those grapes!\u00a0 There you go, hit them again.\u00a0 How does that feel Bobby? Pretty painful huh? Tough shit!\u00a0 Just think how it felt to a Class Act like Miguel Cotto who never cheated, and brings nothing, but Class to the sport of Boxing.<\/p>\n

RSR Readers you have our pledge that we will not cover this fight nor report any results to add to an outright travesty to a sport that I have loved now for 35 years! Miguel Cotto this is for you and any other fighter that no doubt, Margocheater loaded his gloves against!\u00a0<\/p>\n
