\nGennandy \u201cGGG\u201d Golovkin:<\/strong> No, he is not Marvin Hagler, but how can you not love this young man? He is class personified and learned to speak English. No, his fight against David Lemieux is not Hagler \u2013 Hearns, but it is 100% better than Mayweather, JR. \u2013 Berto on PPV. In time, mark my words, \u201cGGG\u201d will be rated in the top ten middleweights of all time.<\/p>\n

Beau Jack\u2026<\/strong> One of the nicest gentlemen I ever met through Al. To see him fight, was an experience, but to hear him talk about those wars years later, even \"Beau<\/a>more special. RIP Champ!<\/p>\n

Marlon Brando\u2026<\/strong> Hands down, the greatest actor in the history of film. Strange? Sure\u2026 But what artist doesn\u2019t have strange ways? I met him a few times as I mentioned in an earlier column through Al on the set of On The Waterfront and at some other events. My top five Brando movies of all time are\u2026<\/p>\n

My Pal Al (\u201cBad\u201d Brad\u2019s Father)\u2026<\/strong> I forgot about a hilarious story that Bradley, reminded me the other day on the phone about James \u201cQuick\u201d Tillis, when they both trained together at Allen Park in North Miami Beach, Florida back in the early 80\u2019s. During the day, the pros trained there and Angelo Dundee used the gym for them. At night, the amateurs would come in and train which Bradley did. This one night, Al and Bradley walk into the gym and \u201cQuick\u201d was on the scale in his birthday suit. Without missing a beat, Al turns to \u201cQuick\u201d and says, \u201cif you don\u2019t knock out Weaver with a punch, hit him over the head with that\u201d!<\/p>\n

Al was referring to his PUTZ that supposedly touched the ground. \u201cQuick\u2019, Angelo and the rest of the guys in the gym fell on the floor dying with laughter. Oh how I miss my pal Al so much. Funny \u2013 Funny man and one loyal SOB till the end!<\/p>\n

\"RFK\"<\/a>The Chutzpah Award\u2026<\/strong> The Chutzpah Award Posthumously goes to Robert Kennedy. John F. Kennedy was a great President, but Bobby would have been even better. I have no doubt, he would have ended the Vietnam War because he had balls of steel. But as our society does, they strike down people who want to make a drastic change for the better such as John F. Kennedy, Martin Luther King, JR. and Abraham Lincoln before him.<\/p>\n

One of my favorite quotes that was actually from George Bernard Shaw\u2019s play Back to Methuselah and Bobby did a variation on is: \u201cSome people see things as they are and say why? I dream things that never were and say why not?\u201d<\/strong><\/em> RIP\u2026.<\/p>\n
