{"id":61541,"date":"2016-07-13T19:00:24","date_gmt":"2016-07-14T00:00:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ringsidereport.com\/?p=61541"},"modified":"2016-07-13T19:00:57","modified_gmt":"2016-07-14T00:00:57","slug":"tyron-zeuge-ready-to-make-history","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ringsidereport.com\/?p=61541","title":{"rendered":"Tyron Zeuge: Ready to Make History!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><a href=\" http:\/\/ringsidereport.com\/?p=61541\" rel=\" http:\/\/ringsidereport.com\/?p=61541\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-61543 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/ringsidereport.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/e0887a16-cd8d-4950-b1db-1cfdc92f28ba-300x220.jpg\" alt=\"e0887a16-cd8d-4950-b1db-1cfdc92f28ba\" width=\"500\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a>Photo by \u00a0Winfried Mausolf<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tyron Zeuge (18-0, 10 KOs) says he is ready to make history on Saturday night when he challenges Giovanni De Carolis (24-6, 12 KOs) for the WBA World Super Middleweight title at the Max-Schmeling-Halle in Berlin.<\/p>\n<p>The undefeated 24 year-old can become Germany\u2019s youngest ever World Champion with a victory over the experienced Italian, beating Graciano \u2018Rocky\u2019 Rocchigiani\u2019s record of 24 years and 73 days by 8 days.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>He will face a tough task against the 31 year-old from Rome, who claimed the WBA World title in January with an eleventh-round TKO win over Zeuge\u2019s stable mate Vincent Feigenbutz at the Baden-Arena in Offenburg.<\/p>\n<p>However, the Berlin-boxer insists he feels no pressure going into his first World title fight and is looking forward to celebrating a historic night at his hometown arena.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018\u2019I\u2019m not nervous,\u2019\u2019 he says. \u2018\u2019I know there is a lot at stake, but I will approach this fight the same way I do every fight. I will not let anything affect my focus. I will concentrate on what I have to do in the ring, go in there and win the fight.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018\u2019Berlin is my city, and it\u2019s always nice to fight at home. It will be a great feeling to have all my family and friends there supporting me and hopefully cheering me to victory. I look forward to celebrating with them all after the fight.\u2019\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Zeuge has credited the work he has done with coach Juergen Braehmer, the current WBA World Light Heavyweight Champion, in preparing him for Saturday\u2019s World title tilt.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018\u2019Working with Juergen has been a real eye opener for me,\u2019\u2019 he says. \u2018\u2019He has shown me what it takes to make it to the top. My work rate and discipline has increased and I\u2019ve never been better prepared.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018\u2019He is also very calm in the corner and I trust him to give me the right instructions in the ring.
