Canelo \u201cCatchweight\u201d Alvarez\u2026<\/strong> <\/em>Good one Bradley\u2026 I saw a video the other day where he was I think at his brother\u2019s fight against that piece of garbage Antonio MargaCHEATER who won and the Mexican fans were giving him more grief than a five day old Lox on bagels gives me.<\/p>\n

Kell Brook\u2026<\/strong><\/em> I know this one will get me plenty of emails. He\u2019s beating \u201cGGG\u201d by a hard fought split decision in the range of 115-113. Crazy? Maybe, but I have won many a crazy bet over the years and placing this one too!<\/p>\n

Rubin \u201cHurricane\u201d Carter\u2026<\/strong> <\/em>No matter if you think he was guilty or innocent, that SOB was one tough fighter and I would take him back in the ring today over many. RIP<\/p>\n

My Pal Al (\u201cBad\u201d Brad\u2019s Father)\u2026<\/strong> <\/em>Al would be so disgusted at the injustices in our country at this time in our history. He would be the loudest voice of them all as he was in the 60\u2019s with Martin Luther King, JR. I can remember phone calls from places many would not venture into, but Al did and at a cost many times.<\/p>\n

\"meyer-lansky\"<\/a>The Chutzpah Award\u2026<\/strong> <\/em>The Chutzpah Award Posthumously goes to Myer Lansky. Years ago, I used to have breakfast on Miami Beach at a hotel I will not name, but it was on Collins Ave. There was a little elderly Jewish gentleman who sat at the lunch counter and we would kibitz. One day, he says to me. \u201cYou don\u2019t know who I am do you?\u201d I said, \u201cNo\u201d\u2026 He proceeds to say, \u201cI\u2019m Myer Lansky”. I reply, \u201cI\u2019ve seen you on TV many times\u201d. He says, \u201cDon\u2019t believe everything they give me credit for\u201d. We laughed and shared many more times at the lunch counter. He was a mentsch and they don\u2019t make guys like him anymore.<\/p>\n
