Christina Hammer believes Klara Svensson (16-1, 5 KOs) will defeat Mikaela Laur\u00e9n (27-3, 12 KOs) when the Swedish rivals meet for the interim WBC Female World Welterweight title on September 10 at the Hovet in Stockholm.<\/p>\n

The WBO World Female Middleweight Champion, who fought and beat Laur\u00e9n in a 2013 World title fight in Dresden, has been helping Svensson prepare for the blockbuster clash with a series of sparring sessions at her Dortmund gym.<\/p>\n

Having been impressed with what she has seen from the \u2018Swedish Princess\u2019, the undefeated fighter is predicting another loss for her former foe Laur\u00e9n.<\/p>\n

\u2018\u2019I think Klara is the clear winner,\u2019\u2019 said Hammer. \u2018\u2019She is the stronger, more intelligent fighter and she can use the ring well. Mikaela is a good fighter but she is not on the same level as Klara. It will be a good match for female boxing but I can only see one winner.\u2019\u2019<\/p>\n

The 26 year-old, who was kissed by Laur\u00e9n at the weigh-in for their World title bout, believes the Stockholm-fighter\u2019s antics outside the ring do not endear her to the public, making Svensson the fan-favourite for their domestic showdown.<\/p>\n

\u2018\u2019Mikaela craves attention and will do anything to get it,\u2019\u2019 she says. \u2018\u2019She talks a lot of bullshit and is a little bit trashy, but that\u2019s her style. Klara is the smarter one and I think she is better for the public and that\u2019s why the fans want her to win.\u2019\u2019<\/p>\n

Hammer has revealed she will be ringside supporting the Malmo-boxer as the she looks to claim the WBC\u2019s interim World title and land a shot at female pound-for-pound number one Cecilia Br\u00e6khus.<\/p>\n

\u2018\u2019That would be an interesting fight,\u2019\u2019 said the German boxer. \u2018\u2019The old generation versus the new, but first Cecilia must beat Anne Sophie Mathis.\u2019\u2019<\/p>\n

Despite her high praise for Svensson, Hammer admits she would be willing to share the ring with the 28 year-old one day.<\/p>\n

\u2018\u2019Of course, why not,\u2019\u2019 she says. \u2018\u2019I love boxing and I\u2019m willing to fight anyone.\u2019\u2019<\/p>\n
