\nSome fans who bet on boxing may be wondering whether IBF welterweight Kell Brook stands a chance against WBA (Super), WBC, IBF and IBO middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin. And the answer to that question is, according to Paulie Malignaggi, why yes, yes he does. Which begs an even better question. Who is Paulie Malignaggi? As it turns out, Paulie Malignaggi is a former IBF junior welterweight and WBA welterweight champion. Also, his nickname is Magic Man. Okay, so where\u2019s El Diablo? British Brook and Kazakhstani Golovkin are schedule to fight on September 10th at the O2 Arena in London, England for the latter\u2019s titles \u2013 minus the WBA.<\/p>\n

Malignaggi told Boxing News 24 that Triple G\u2019s tendency to stand directly in front of opponents without moving his head \u2013 which he may or may not do in order to hypnotize them \u2013 could give Brook a chance to pull the upset. Did we mention GGG is the favorite of people betting on boxing? As a matter of fact, Golovkin is indeed the favorite \u2013 as he usually is \u2013 for this bout, which will coincidentally be Triple G\u2019s 17th world title defense. The only problem is that, even if Brook gets a shot in, Golovkin\u2019s chin is considered to be one of the best in modern boxing. Honest. Both fighters will go into this match undefeated in nearly as many bouts \u2013 though Brook doesn\u2019t have as many KO wins as Triple G. Obviously, something has to give. The 30 year old has undergone a complete sports science program at Sheffield Hallam University, including high intensity conditioning, strength training, and mobility and movement sessions. And speaking of science, current WBA (Regular)middleweight champion Daniel Jacobs says Brook is just too small to beat GGG<\/a>. \u201cIt\u2019s just science, man. Physics, bro. The difference in size. The difference in power,\u201d Jacobs told BoxingScene.com. A propos of nothing, Jacobs is nicknamed The Golden Child. As for Golovkin, his strategy should be very simple; just pretend that Kell Brook is actually Saul \u2018Canelo\u2019 Alvarez. Hey, it worked for the Water Boy.<\/p>\n
